Jellystone Park, a campground in the Colorado mountains, treats wastewater onsite with a package MBR system. After nearly two years of poor performance with silicon carbide membranes, the owner brought in MMBR to restore capacity and uptime. Before the upgrade, operators were hauling wastewater to a nearby facility to keep up with demand.
MMBR delivered a turnkey retrofit with polymeric membranes, operator training, and post-startup support. This emergency retrofit, restored treatment capacity, improved reliability, and ended the need for hauling.
The membrane portion of the upgrade took approximately 24-hrs. Downtime and remediation were coordinated with plant operators to minimize service disruptions.
