MBR Technology Hub

Universal MBR Technology Hub

Located in central Texas, the Universal MBR Technology Hub is a unique combination of spaces dedicated to the innovation, delivery, and support of all MBR products and projects. The Hub is also part of the IWS Customer Solutions Center dedicated to the service and support of the middle small/decentralized markets.

From design services to automation and heavy manufacturing, our team of experts has access to the largest stock of MBR membrane equipment in the United States. At any given time, our inventory can include five different membrane product types with a combined, nominal filtration capacity of up to 3-MGD. We generally carry compatible replacement equipment for Kubota, Toray, Ovivo, Enviroquip, Microdyn-Nadir, and Zeeweed (Veolia, Suez, GE legacy).

The Hub brings together a network of global technology partnerships and local resources with a shared mission of making MBR solutions readily accessible. It is a distribution center for membrane technologies, a specialized panel shop, and a modular MBR manufacturing facility capable of meeting Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.

Membrane Equipment Distribution

Warehousing membrane equipment designs and products compatible with every major MBR brand.

Stored equipment can include products from Toray, Unisol, Cerafiltec, Supratec, and MANN+HUMMEL among others.

From polymeric flat plates to flexible flat sheets, to hollow fiber designs, or ceramic materials, we determine the “best fit” for replacing membrane technologies based on site specific conditions and customer needs. Sometimes it makes sense to replace old or failing equipment with the current generation of the same product. But M|MBR can also rapidly convert between equipment types and geometries giving decision makers optionality.

Control Panel Assembly

UL listed panel shop designing, delivering, commissioning, Control Panels, UV Panels, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and all MBR automation components for over 20 years.

We build and service hardware from all leading suppliers. Our engineers and technicians also have programming experience with every major platform.

We have delivered and upgraded hundreds of MBR SCADA packages. Our controls engineers are uniquely qualified for live upgrades because we understand how MBR systems work down to the last rung of logic.

Modular MBR Production

ISO certified shop fabricating, assembling, testing, stocking, and shipping modular MBR solutions for over 15 years.

BLU|BOX Modular MBR Systems can be Built to Stock, Made to Order, and Engineered to Order depending on customer needs. Ask about BABA compliant design options.

BLU|BOX-100 Units with a nominal capacity of up to 100,000-gpd are built on a production schedule and kept in inventory. This Unit type can be deployed in 4 o 6 weeks and generally set up in 10 days or less.

NXT|MBR equipment packages are fabricated and assembled at The Hub. Kits are shipped loose to site for installation.

It is all about speed. The Hub is how we deliver it.

The OEM answer to failing membrane equipment is a six-to-nine month wait for parts shipped from overseas. Our answer is parts on a truck in weeks with options to expedite deliveries in emergency situations. The Hub is how we deliver on speed and repeatably, at scale.

Walk the inventory aisles. See modular MBR units in production. Meet the team that will deliver your project. Compare membrane platforms side by side, in person, with the people who have spent 25 years installing them. We pay travel for up to two stakeholders per project, because the fastest way to get comfortable with the technology you are about to specify is to stand next to it.
