Chuckchansi Gold Resort & Casino, located in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills, relies on MBR treatment of wastewater from guest accommodations, kitchens, and gaming operations.
In 2008, members of our team helped convert the original sequencing batch reactor (SBR) into an MBR system. More recently, MMBR delivered a backward-compatible, Toray-based membrane upgrade that increased membrane area by 17% while preserving space for up to 75% additional future capacity.
The drop-in, part-for-part module design required no significant ancillary equipment changes and was completed in days. Working closely with the plant operator, MMBR helped resolve serious performance issues, improve reliability, and modernize the facility with minimal disruption.
