Cordillera Ranch WWTP, operated by the Greater Blanco River Authority, serves a residential community and produces high-quality effluent for golf course irrigation.
Members of MMBR helped deliver the original MBR system in 2008, which later earned the 2012 Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year award. In a recent upgrade, MMBR replaced legacy Kubota equipment with a Toray-based design providing 160% more membrane area. The project increased rated capacity from 0.06 MGD to 0.19 MGD in the same concrete tanks, avoiding the cost and delay of a traditional expansion while unlocking hidden plant capacity.
