Members of MMBR have supported the Running Springs WRF since a 2003 CAS upgrade that extended tank service life, expanded capacity, and improved treatment. Over 23 years, the team helped deliver multiple improvements, including a 2017 expansion from 0.60 to 1.04 MGD.
In 2022, MMBR recommended MYTEX technology to increase oxygen transfer, widen the mixed liquor suspended solids (MLSS) operating window, improve uptime, and simplify maintenance.
Working with the operators, MMBR managed the turnkey upgrade in about 10 days, handling design, logistics, installation, controls, and commissioning.
