We delivered our first packaged MBR system in 2004. Our team went on to design and deliver hundreds of other systems using a variety of membrane technologies and vessel types. We’ve evolved and simplified our product lineup to include the steel BLU|BOX MBR and concrete NXT|MBR solutions.
The “best fit” wastewater treatment solution depends on factors like flow, geography, permit, discharge type, reuse plans, schedule, phasing, portability needs, and total cost of ownership. Our team partners with customers to solution the best fit using steel package plant and concrete modular solutions. Each platform type uses standardized components and design elements that allow for rapid deployment, higher quality, and better long-term operator support.
Factory-tested steel package plants with wastewater treatment and reclamation capacities. Rapidly deployable, quick setup, and highly dependable. Flexible procurement and delivery options.
Modular concrete MBR solutions with wastewater and reclamation capacities. Faster build times and the longest expected service life. The lowest total cost option for permanent plants serving the middle market.
BLU|BOX and NXT|MBR solutions are designed for the middle market and for smaller decentralised applications. They work wherever biological wastewater treatment is an option and whenever reuse is a consideration.
Typical project examples include new developments, private utilities, RV parks, casinos, decentralised applications, and scalping plants but the list of possibilities is only limited by our imagination.
Our steel systems can be utilised as permanent solutions or deployed as transportable assets. Rapid deployment and capacity phasing often characterise BLU|BOX projects.
Our NXT|MBR plants are generally a better fit for customers needing larger facilities and that are looking at a 50-yr lifecycle. NXT|MBR solutions are expected to last the better part of a century as a valuable asset.

Leveraging modular construction, a long-lead item inventory, and standard installation drawings.
Installation services are available for all products provided by dedicated teams of specialists.
Operational and capital leases at attractive rates, with buyback options to minimize risk and installation fees that can be rolled in to reduce upfront cost.
A customer initially needed 160K-gpd of capacity to replace a failing conventional wastewater treatment plant. As part of Phase 1, our team quickly deployed 2 BLU|BOX-75 Units as part of a turnkey project. These units were purchased. 6 months later, Phase 2 was implemented and a third BLU|BOX-75 was installed as part of a short-term lease. Phase 3 is now in progress to eventually replace the three steel plants, treating 220K-gpd, with a NXT|MBR capable of treating peak flows up to 1.3-MGD.

Depending on the project, additional tankage and ancillary items may be required. M|MBR offers a range of engineered products to meet process needs and treatment requirements. However, we can also provide third-party tanks and componentry as part of complete flowsheets. For projects where installed cost is a primary driver and where asset locations are permanent, off-the-shelf, third-party tanks and components can be procured as part of an equipment package or specified for direct purchase.
A range of HDPE and bolted-steel tanks for permanent installations, standardized for commodity purposes to keep procurement costs down.
Ancillary components such as lift stations, chlorine contact chambers, buildings, and switchgear.
