DESCRIPTION

Cordillera Ranch WWTP, operated by the Greater Blanco River Authority, serves a residential community and produces high-quality effluent for golf course irrigation.

Members of M|MBR helped deliver the original MBR system in 2008, which later earned the 2012 Municipal Treatment Plant of the Year award. In a recent upgrade, M|MBR replaced the legacy Kubota equipment with a Toray-based design providing 160% more membrane area. The project increased rated capacity from 0.06 MGD to 0.19 MGD in the same concrete tanks, avoiding the cost and delay of a traditional expansion while unlocking hidden plant capacity.

Plant recognition

The Cordillera Ranch plant received the 2012 “Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year” award from Texas Water Awards.
