BLU|BOX MBR Purchase

A Central Texas developer needed a flexible wastewater treatment solution to match the growth of a new residential subdivision. To optimize capital expenditure, the project required a phased delivery that could easily scale from initial home construction to full build-out.

Integrated Water Services (IWS) delivered a scalable, turnkey membrane bioreactor (MBR) solution using three modular BLU|BOX-75 units. In Phase 1, IWS installed the first BLU|BOX-75 unit, providing an initial design capacity of 60,000 GPD to serve early residents. In Phases 2 and 3 (the Expansion), approximately two years later, IWS delivered and integrated two additional BLU|BOX-75 units during a seven-month project, bringing total plant capacity to the permitted 200,000 GPD.

All three BLU|BOX-75 units were built at the MBR Tech Hub in Brenham, TX. System start-up and long-term maintenance are supported directly by regional technicians from our local MBR Tech Hub facilities.
