DESCRIPTION

Stony Point WWTP, one of Texas’s first packaged MBR plants, was originally delivered in 2007 with M|MBR team support and later converted to flexible flat-sheet membranes.

In 2025, after approximately 18 years of plant operation, the modules reached end of service earlier than planned. M|MBR responded within days with backward-compatible replacement equipment from local inventory.

Technicians worked with plant operators to complete a four-module changeout in 17 hours during a rain event.

The plant quickly returned to design performance, with improved operability and reliability.

The MMBR team delivered 4 new membrane units in less than a week and helped to get them installed in 17-hrs. It was an emergency and the MMBR team was there with us to get the plant back online. After the replacement, plant capacity was fully restored and performance improved.
