MBR parts & services
for every plant.
Same fit. Better performance.

Fast, vendor-neutral support for membrane replacement, emergency response, and plant automation upgrades.

We help operators restore capacity, reduce downtime, and extend the life of existing MBR assets.

Why MBR operators call M|MBR

How We Can support your MBR

Every MBR plant reaches a point where something inside it needs to be replaced, the membranes, the controls, or both. The basins, blowers and piping around them are usually sound. What surprises most operators is not the replacement itself. It is discovering that the company that built the plant is rarely the fastest, the cheapest, or the only option available.

01

Aging equipment

Membrane cassettes and control hardware reach end of life long before the plant does. The concrete, blowers and piping around them still have decades left.
02

Sole-source pressure

The original manufacturer quotes the parts, sets the price and controls the schedule. Operators are told the replacement is proprietary. More often than not, a qualified alternative exists.
03

Lead times

OEM replacement equipment routinely ships on a schedule measured in quarters, not weeks, and most of it comes from overseas. Permit limits do not pause while equipment sits on a boat.
04

Fragmented support

Parts come from one supplier, controls from another, service from a third. Nobody owns the result, and the operator ends up coordinating vendors during the events where speed matters most.
05

Funding and procurement rules

Capital cycles and sole-source justification requirements are why plants stay stuck even when everyone involved knows an alternative exists. Without a second bid, the paperwork writes itself in the OEM’s favour.
Our wastewater treatment plant has greatly improved since moving over to the new membranes provided and installed by MMBR Systems. We have currently had no issues with our samples being out of compliance per our permits. The turbidity has also come down significantly from about 2.0 to .095. We are currently removing about 99% of our total suspended solids. Our fecal and E. coli tests have also been great with 0 colonies on both within the last few months. I am confident enough to say that if I had no water to drink, I would drink out effluent water.

Why MBR operators call M|MBR

What we mean by aftermarket

Parts, membranes, chemicals or services supplied to an already-installed and operating system, with limited engineering and design scope. Four ways in.

Part-for-part replacement at the cassette or module level with backward-compatible geometry. Planned at end of life, or urgently after a failure.
Replacement of ageing PLC and HMI hardware and software, panel fabrication, commissioning, and secure remote access on the plant you already run.

Health checks, operator training, troubleshooting, optimization, documentation and MEM‑BRAIN.

Brand and geometry agnostic.

Phone support and remote recovery recommendations first, then expedited equipment and field crews.

What we offer, and why we're different

An alternative source, not just an alternative part

Anyone can quote a part. Three things make M|MBR a source you can actually buy replacement equipment from.

Stocked in Austin

All three technology types held at The MBR Tech Hub in Texas. Not a purchase order placed against an overseas production slot, equipment on a shelf in the United States.

Standard components too: systems, membranes, controls and aftermarket parts.

A crew, not a catalogue

Seasoned MBR professionals who install the equipment, optimize the plant once it is running, and train the operators who will keep it running.

Most parts suppliers stop at the loading dock. Most OEMs will not touch another manufacturer’s basin. We do both.

MEM‑BRAIN

Our AI tool ingests a plant’s old paper documentation, O&M manuals, as-builts, submittals, service records, and turns it into information an operator can actually find.

The senior operators are retiring. MEM‑BRAIN is how the plant keeps what they knew.

MMBR has been a trusted partner for MBR solutions for many years, consistently providing outstanding solutions for multiple projects. Their expertise in MBR systems make them an invaluable resource for our team. I highly recommend MMBR for their commitment to delivering top-tier solutions.

procurement and purchasing

Break the OEM Lock

A sole-source OEM is a procurement problem before it is a price problem. Utilities that must bid competitively need a qualified alternative to bid against, and for membrane equipment most do not have one. Replacement goes to sole-source justification by default, not because anyone chose it.
