Process Description

The wastewater system is a self-contained, fully transportable, integrated assembly of equipment constructed for the purpose of treating wastewater. It is a biological process that utilizes submerged ultrafiltration (UF) membrane modules for the purposes of solids liquid separation. Bio-Win™ modelling and design calculations are provided to meet multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.

System Configuration

A secondary fine screen is provided with each BluBox MBR unit for screen redundancy and re-screening for solid separation. The BluBox MBR unit dimensions are 45’ x 12’ x 8.5’ and are divided into four distinct zones. There is an Anoxic Zone, a Pre-Aeration (PA) Zone and two Membrane (MB) Zones. All required process treatment equipment including motor control panel, pumps, blowers and instrumentation are located on upper and lower process equipment porches. An optional UV disinfection can be placed on the lower porch. There are up to nine connections to the system including influent, rescreening, effluent, electrical, plant water, and four drains/WAS connections. Chemical feed systems are piped to off-board chemical drums.
